List of Fruits that look Like Corn

Corn

There are only two fruits that truly resemble corn (Pictured above) in physical appearance:

1. Monstera deliciosa (Swiss Cheese Fruit)

When ripening, Monstera deliciosa develops a long, cylindrical shape covered in hexagonal scales, much like the kernels on a corn cob. As it matures, these greenish scales fall off in sections, revealing the yellow, juicy flesh underneath—visually similar to rows of corn kernels being exposed as husk is peeled back. Even the way it’s eaten—section by section—adds to the corn-like experience.

2. Mulberry

Though much smaller and clustered, ripe mulberries resemble miniature corn cobs. Each fruit is made up of multiple tiny drupelets packed tightly together, forming an elongated shape similar to a tiny, bumpy ear of corn. Their light green to dark red/purple coloring as they ripen can also mimic various corn varieties, especially ornamental or heirloom ones.
